1. Why are you no longer showing anime episodes?
Answer: I'm no longer showing anime because it does not help the anime industry. For Example, it takes some time to get the episodes to DVD after they are broadcasted in Japan (with roughly one or two episodes per disc (according to IGN)) and there are some fansub distributors, like the current DCTP, that sub the newest episode available in Japan. This makes it safe to assume that they did not buy it and they are not getting rid of the content after 24 hours, in order for it to be consider fair use (at least, in my country this is the case. fair use and copyright laws vary between countries, so this information is not accurate on an international level and never will be).
2. Then why are you showing clips from different anime?
Answer: Small sample clips that are no longer than 3 or 4 minutes are considered to be fair use (again this pertains to my country only, so this too varies internationally).
3. Can I affiliate with your site?
Answer: Currently, yes you are allowed to try and apply to be an affiliate by filling out the contact me form and sending it through your client. The rules are the following: Content must be suitable for children 13 and under, link must be on the homepage (if not every page), You need to make it easy for people to contact you about complaints or suggestions, and if you are going to terminate the affiliation or your site is being shut down/put on hiatus, please tell me. Failure to comply will result in being rejected; if you are already an affiliate, I will remove the link to your site from my listing.
Special exceptions can be made for forums and friends, but I am still going to hold them to a standard that if they don't meet will have affiliation terminated.
4. Will you place my image up as a link to my site upon acceptance as an affiliate?
Answer: Due to the fact that many images on a single page will slow down loading time, I will only use text links.
5. Will I make money as an affiliate?
Answer: No.
6. Can I become a staff member of this site?
Answer: No, I never have and never will accept any staff for this site.
7. Why won't you provide support for Windows Vista users?
Answer: I do not have a Vista PC or a Windows Vista virtual Machine and might not ever have either one.
8. Why does this site not look good in IE?
Answer: I'm not a professional web designer or developer and therefore, I cannot ensure how well the site will look due to IE's rendering engine.
