A new game has hit Japan and is very popular. However, all is not well in this game, called The World. A player by the name of Tsukasa is no longer able to log out, after opening a chest in a dungeon. When regaining his consciousness, Tsukasa is interrogated about a Cat player character. Exiting the dungeon, he once again meets somebody he saw in the dungeon. This character and a friend named Bear decide to try and figure out what is happened to Tsukasa and find his true identity. However, it seems that Tsukasa's problem is intertwined with mysterious events that happen and a little girl who has not awaken yet. Will Tsukasa be able to log out ever again?
